Is it even a question? Staying provided under current and full medical insurance should remain a no-brainer. Hospital bills are only rising, and medications are becoming more and more the burden of the patient and not the hospital, which means you are paying out of your own pocket for the medication.

Are you scared about what your late years have in store? Do you think about cancer and death often? What about your family, are you concerned about their well being? Do you fear for any major illnesses or diseases they might encounter? Of course you do, you’re human and you’re naturally attached to the family.

So when the times do get tough and something life-threatening like a major operation or transplant is required, are you in the right hands? Could you shoulder the financial burden? Even if you consider yourself well off in terms of income, any major medical operation or transplant will put a serious dent in your finances.

Medical insurance can cover any form of illness or disease. The insurance can also cover the elderly, your loved ones, who have become serious disabled through old age and illness. The insurance companies can cover costs that will allow your loved ones to live on for years, even if the person is in a vegetative state.

And why shouldn’t you? Modern advances in science and the medical fields have allowed doctors to diagnose and treat diseases much quicker. With the added time, doctors save lives and allow people to live longer. Serious diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s are now more readily treatable.

People also rest easy in the reassurance that their financial burdens are taken care of by medical insurance. The insurance companies will allow you to deal with the crisis on a personal and emotional level, while the insurance takes care of the expenses.

Apply for medical insurance before your health turns for the worse. This seems like common sense, but too many people neglect to sign up for insurance until their health is a problem. However, health insurance providers are much more willingly to accept your policy when you are in a good state of health.

Insurance companies do not have a moral obligation to insure everybody. They want to protect people, but it’s difficult to insure people who need money and they need it now. How they can reward desperation when other clients have been faithful for years and might need the money also?

Develop a lifelong bond with your insurance company. Form that relationship early on in your life when you are healthy and full of life. The insurance company will return the loyalty by providing when you’re in a time of need.
